My Formal Introduction

Posted by Tabitha C. on Thursday, August 12, 2010
I've been a cosmetologist for over ten years, and I have been natural for five of those years off and on. I guess you could say I have had a love hate relationship with my hair being natural. At the moment me and natural hair in like. I am infatuated with the look of natural hair. I absolutely love seeing natural hair on other people, especially when it is long full and healthy because it reflects a dedication to something that is in my opinion very difficult to do. I can and do  of course manage and style natural hair to perfection on a daily basis in the salon, but that does not mean that I want to commit to doing all of that work on myself. At the same time it is important to note that the best way to know what is going to work on my clients is to first try the product of procedure on myself. It is for these reasons and more that I am often torn. In the end I strive to have the healthiest hair that I can have in any state, natural or chemically altered. I have recently decided to cut all my hair off again and attempt to grow my hair out naturally. I plan on documenting my progress and giving tips and information on styling and maintenance through this blog. So I hope you subscribe to my blog and follow me on my journey. Feel free to contact me ask me questions and leave messages on things you would like for me to write about.
